By scooter: Look for scooter rental services available in Baku. Many cities have scooter-sharing programs where you can rent a scooter for a short period and drop it off at designated locations: JET Sharing; Use a GPS or navigation app on your smartphone to help you navigate the streets of Baku. By metro: Travelling by metro in Baku is a convenient and efficient way to get around the city. Here’s what you need to know: The metro operates from early morning until late at night, usually from around 6:00 AM to midnight. Fares for the metro are typically inexpensive – 0,40 AZN.  Baku Metro is known for its cleanliness and safety. Security personnel are present at stations, and CCTV cameras are installed throughout the metro system to ensure passenger safety.  

By bus: Traveling by bus in Baku is another convenient option for getting around the city, especially for destinations not directly served by the metro. Here’s what you need to know about using the bus system in Baku: Baku has an extensive bus network that covers most areas of the city. There are both regular and express bus routes, with the latter offering faster service by making fewer stops. Familiarize yourself with bus routes and stops using maps available at bus stations or online. You can also use the «BAKIKART» application. you need to enter the name of the place where you want to go and a list of buses will appear, where they depart from and at what time they will get to your stop. 

By taxi: Travelling by taxi in Baku offers a convenient and flexible way to get around the city. You can use ride-hailing apps like Uber, Bolt, 189Taxi, Uklon or YandexTaxi to book a taxi. These apps allow you to request a ride, track your driver’s location, and pay for your trip electronically, providing added convenience and transparency.
